Found this trailer for the film, Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf on Twitch today and thought I would share it with you...cause you're mouth is purdy. The influences are as clear as day from the awesome posters, the 1:38 of coolness that is found on the following video, and right up through the story of…“A blind samurai that battles seven assassins in a remote town to get to the psychopath who murdered his family and took his eyesight.” Now that’s my kinda story! Check it out…
Need I say more? Well, maybe I’ll just say that I cannot wait for the “uncensored” version…if ya know what I mean. Also, this is one of those films that look like it could be a blast, or a complete bust. I of course am hoping for the former. No luck on a release date yet, but the film is making its festival run and hopefully it will see a DVD release soon enough. Here is the official website for more details.

I saw it at the Asian Film Festival of Dallas and it was a complete bust.
It's a bummer to hear that...at least I didn't have any real hopes for the film as I figured there would be a good chance that it would suck. I appreciate the heads up though Doc.!
Doc didn't see it. The movie rules!!!
It won Best Film in San Francisco. So keep the faith!
Doc never saw it...it was past his bedtime....lol.
I saw it and absolutely loved it! Samurai Avenger OWNS! Big Time!
Thanks for the comments and for reading sweeptheleg, and Mr. Anonymous!
It's nice to hear some positive things about the film; I will still see it eventually and still look forward to doing so.
To be fair though, I'm sure that the Doc isn't fibbing about seeing Samurai Avenger as it did play at a festival in Dallas which where he lives. I will say, though, that he is more than likely telling the truth about disliking the film, no real reason to bash a film like this unless it just didn't work for you, and I believe that is the case here.
Just a case of to each his own, and one persons opinion of a film won't very often sway most cinema fans anticipation for a film, unless the negativity is overwhelming and numerous. Even then, it really should not mean anything outside of another’s personal taste. That is why criticism exists, if everyone had the same opinion, I wouldn't be here right now, and neither would any of you sexy readers either.
